Why this works

WhatsApp runs photos and videos through two different pipelines, and it is much rougher on photos. So Cleanpost doesn't compress your picture — it turns it into a silent five-second video and sends it down the gentler road.

The file lands at 1080 × 1920, the exact Status frame. WhatsApp finds nothing left to resize, so it skips the crop screen and posts straight away.

93% of the finished file is a single frame. The other 124 frames say "nothing changed" in about 70 bytes each — so almost every bit spent goes into your picture.
